While surfing the web last night a headline jumped out at me saying ‘Recruiter Sentenced for CV Fraud’. I read it with interest and the thought occurred to me that while there is always going to be a criminal element (isn’t there always when money is to be made!) you have to be pretty low to doctor a CV or references to get your candidate into a company. The legal and ethical elements aside, what about that actual person? Are you setting them up for failure? Can they even do the job?
